CODA Roots

Founded by a proud CODA, Lagundo leads with deep ties to the Deaf community. From childhood conversations in ASL to professional interpreting, our work is grounded in trust, culture, and connection.

Deaf-Led. Deaf-Loved.

Our mission is guided by Deaf professionals, creatives, and visionaries. We shape every decision from the inside out. We don’t just include Deaf people. We center them.

Hospitality Meets Access

We fuse the warmth of Deaf culture with the precision of 5-star hospitality. Whether onstage or in a hospital, we deliver interpreting that’s seamless, respectful, and full of intention.

Accessibility, Elevated.

Lagundo ASL Services was built in the heart of Las Vegas with one mission: to raise the standard for accessibility. We’re proud to blend the culture and community of Deaf spaces with the professionalism of 5-star hospitality.

Whether interpreting in a courtroom, classroom, hospital, or concert venue, we believe language access should always feel seamless, intentional, and full of care.

We are founded by a proud CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), shaped by Deaf leadership, and rooted in a deep belief that accessibility is a right, not a request.

From festival stages to healthcare settings, we’ve built a reputation for handling high-impact environments with skill, warmth, and integrity.

Meet the Founder: Lagundo Sandoval

CODA. Veteran. Interpreter. Cultural Connector.
Born in Moreno Valley, California, Lagundo Sandoval is a proud Spanish/Italian first-generation Latino and CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) who grew up with ASL as his first language. Communication wasn’t just a skill;  it was a way of life. Raised in a home where Deaf culture and pride were daily realities, Lagundo carries an identity at the intersection of language, service, and culture. His mother has taught ASL 1–5 at a Southern Nevada college for years, and three of her four children became professional interpreters; two married to Deaf partners. ASL is family, heritage, and home.

Lagundo is a U.S. Army veteran who served in Fairbanks, Alaska, and trained overseas in Japan, Australia, and Thailand. His military experience instilled the discipline, leadership, and integrity he brings to every professional engagement today. Post-service, he stepped into Las Vegas’s renowned hospitality industry, working at Encore Beach Club (Wynn) and helping open LIV Beach Club and Poodle Room at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. These experiences taught him what real hospitality looks like and he brings that same gold standard to interpreting and accessibility.
“My goal has never been just to build a business. It’s to create meaningful access. I believe in Deaf pride, language visibility, and culturally fluent interpreting that feels human, not transactional. I’ve lived both worlds. And I’m here to bridge the gap.” -Lagundo Sandoval
Today, Lagundo leads a new kind of agency: one that blends cultural care with five-star execution. From backstage green rooms to emergency rooms, his mission is clear:  bridge the worlds of Deaf identity, luxury-level service, and meaningful human connection.

Built on Purpose & Pride

Lagundo ASL Services is more than a business. It’s a movement powered by community and grounded in identity. As a proud young brown CODA male, Latino entrepreneur, and Deaf community ally, Lagundo bridges the worlds of interpreting, service, advocacy, and equity.

He also collaborates with Deaf creatives behind the scenes, like co-founder and multimedia visionary Eduardo Sesma of Sesmedia, and works with local Deaf artists and content creators to uplift visibility across platforms.

He’s an advocate. A storyteller. A connector. And a firm believer in equity with excellence.
